this solo is the second iteration of an ongoing research project, and is focused on the reclamation of a fragmented identity perspective. fabric becomes a tool for projecting the implicitly contained remnants of a homeland that is no longer accessible. a constant tension is present between the fabric and the dancer, while a soundscape of traintracks, shipping forecasts, and newsreels underscores the relationship.
